The real estate mogul bought land in the Dallas Arts District in the ’90s, joining a several-decades-long plan to turn a strip of downtown Dallas into a hub for arts and culture. After the AT&T Performing Arts Center and Klyde Warren Park sprang up in 2009 and 2012, respectively, Hall’s $250 million hotel and luxury high-rise residences — fittingly called Hall Arts — are expected to open in late 2019 and early 2020.
